LTTE terror chief Prabakaran playing his end game had to bite the bullet again with the total failure of their “Stunt Aircraft show” mission into Colombo which they launched Friday night (20th Feb 2009), said the media spokesperson for National Security Minister Keheliya Rambukwella today during the press conference held at the Media Centre for National Security, Colombo.

This is the eighth time the LTTE terrorists tried their luck with their Air power but unfortunately failed as usual with the joint effort of SL Army, Air force, Navy and Police, the Minister added.

LTTE terrorists made two suicide air raids in Colombo targeting Sri Lanka Air Force headquarters and the Katunayake Airbase turn down Friday night (20th Feb) but the SL security forces gunned down both air crafts along with the pilots. One aircraft was crashed into the Inland Revenue Department building following the continuous attacks of SL security forces and the other fell in Katunayake.

SINHALAYA News Agency would like to add the video footages of the LTTE aircraft been hit by the active air defense fire and crashing in to the Inland Revenue building., Friday night. These video footages were obtained through “Thermal Image Cameras” of Sri Lanka Navy.

(Special thanks to Sri Lanka Navy and the Media Centre for National Security for providing the Video Footages.)
