Memories - Uncertain??

Unknown? Or Well-known??

I felt so close with some one,
I realized you never can be my unknown friend,
Coz, when I needed you the most you were not there,
And I felt a friendship,
Iíve never felt even with you, which was eternal.

Looking right through my eyes,
Day and night, I reminded,
Where I have seen them,
What will you say if I seek help from you!

No.. Iím not gonna think any thing of you,
Coz, every time I remind of you,
Tears imprisoned in my heart.

Take the chance to fill my eyes,
But I canít forget you,
You trustworthy nature,
Loving caring ways

But....  but waitÖ
Now I remember,
I again feel the warmth and comfort,
I had from you.
I again hear the comforting words,
I had from you.

I felt the warmth of friendship,
Melting my frozen heart,
I was correct, the one who was always with me,
Is my eternal best friend?
Coz, those eyes belong to no one,
But YOU!!!

Rath hadun, Why you thank God. God can not do any thing I suppose. They live in side humans.

I'm not a poet at all. But I'll try to write more in future.

Seeing what u've written in nimnaya I may say thats a remarkable piece of writing

keep up with it jeewaka.

Abt god >> Well. some ppl believe there's a higher power than human,
while some believe human mind is the most superior power in universe
Its ok to believe what every u want or what ever u r taught to beleive as long as u dont harm any one or anything
Best way to attract others is to keep your self Cool when others are hot at u !

Memories are only for people who dare to explore and experience. If you hide in a house (or a marriage for that matter) you never get experiences nor memories. Only feel how life passes you bye.

So Jeewaka, go ahead! Experience life in all its vibrant colors. Donít (just) settle for Black and White. What you experienced was real, so donít be uncertain.

Friendship and true love are two sides of the same coin. They go hand in hand. Do not mix love with romance. Romance is the period that leave many fond memories to bring tears to your eyes later. True love persists in your mind and is a state that you may not remember or capture on memories.

Memories donít leave, like people do
They always stay with you.
And may bring a tear to my eyes.
Yea, but Iím still happy although itís sad

God is: personification of the great unknown by an individual.
Religion is: priests doping you with god and robbing your wallet with the threat of eternal damnation.
The ultimate truth with all religions and all gods.

I think the poet is a product of a Asian culture. Most of the Asians suffer from this type of uncertain memories. Very few are different from that (like the way Weli comment).

Happy to see that our(Sri Lankan) cultural products are still there.

I think Jeewaka might capable to identify surely, the difference of love, friendship & romance correctly. Thatís why Jeewaka  post this on to "Off Topics" rather than "Lovers Lane".  I really appreciate that.

Sigiri, Thanks for your comments.

Weli & Rath, two different views, but I really apreciate them.
