But

First of All Please we ask that you adhere to the following posting guidelines and fundamentals to keep things running smoothly,. Please read them:

TERMS OF USE:
When you registered as a member of this forum you agreed to abide by the Rules n Regulations of  www.sinhalaya.com and you are expected to be familiar with them and follow them.

POST THREADS IN THE APPROPRIATE BOARD:

The forum boards all have descriptions, so read them and make sure your thoughts are relevant. Each board has a particular focus and you should refrain from staring a new thread that does not relate to that forum’s intended subject matter. If in doubt, start a new thread in the General Discussion forum and let the Administration to decide if it should be moved.

STOP CROSSPOSTING:

Please post your topic to one forum only. If it needs to be moved, report to a moderator.

BE INFORMED :

before starting a thread on something, run a search and see if it's been covered previously, either on the site or the forums.

STAY ON TOPIC:

Please stay on topic. A person who starts a thread usually has a particular topic they would like to discuss with other members of the community. Please respect their wishes and only post responses that relate to the subject of the thread. When – as often happens – something is mentioned that you’d like to explore a little more in depth but is off topic for the thread then please don’t hijack the thread. Start a new one of your own instead.

NO JUNK POSTING:
No posts just to post. This includes topics like 'let's tell a story post by post' as well as tacking on garbage to the end of a thread that has ended.

If your pictures/images are very large, or posting multiple versions, please use links and thumbnails.

RESPECT OTHERS :
You have every right to disagree with your fellow posters and explain your perspective. But always be respectful of other fellow posters, the system, and the moderators. We have started this in good faith; please use it in good faith.

Every member is entitled to his/her opinion and has the right (within the confines of the forum rules) to express it. Please respect their opinion , even if you don’t agree with it – and be polite at all times.

Insults, defamation, and any ad hominem attacks are not, and will be dealt with severely by the Admins. “Flame wars” will, under no circumstances, be tolerated. We are here for people of all ages, different relligeons and races and We want everone to feel comfortable.

No attacking or name calling. This includes talking about groups of people, not just individuals. No thread crapping, flaming and No swearing.

Also respect the privacy of others, and don't share their personal information without permission.

If you disagree with a view expressed and wish to reply, do so in a civil manner, remember to represent your view with an informed diplomacy.
Use "I disagree with what you said for the following reasons..." instead of  phrases such as "shut up, idiot,",,,

If you can't be mature, find somewhere else to post.

NO SPAM OR TROLL IN THREADS :
Do not post meaningless comments in threads or emoticon-only posts.

Any post that is off-topic or contributes nothing useful or interesting to a thread is considered to be spam. Most spam posts will be moved or deleted. Spam includes posts that:
